It seems that lately, several of my private developmental therapy and music therapy kiddos are working on shapes, sorting and matching.  I have some wonderful tools that I bring with me to each of my sessions (including a nice egg shaker matching set!) but I can’t always leave them on site, as all of my kiddos need all of my things!   So I traveled around the web and found some fun printables for you to check out and they are all FREE!!!

The Activity Mom: Bears, Ice Cream and Paintbrushes
These are all matching games; shapes and colors.  We love these at home, and have recently introduced them to several of my kiddos at work.  Who doesn’t love a cute cuddly bear with a shape on his belly?!

Yellow Mums: Dinosaur Shapes
I first heard about it from “The Activity Mom”, but decided to send you right to the source.  How cute are these dinosaurs?!  Each dinosaur is incomplete, find the matching shape for the dino’s belly!  You can even make this into a place mat at the dinner table while the little one is awaiting his/her grub!

Smashed Peas and Carrots: Children’s Scavenger Hunt
I started following this blog in earnest about two months ago and have been impressed more and more each day.  This scavenger hunt is super easy for kids to follow and really helps to develop those detective skills 🙂  It’s been raining quite a bit here, so I am eagerly awaiting the sun to come out so that I can test it out with the little one.

The three site above are just the tip of the iceberg!  Have you found any great printable sites for your children or clients?  Leave a comment and tell me all about them!
