We are so excited to be expanding our services in the Bloomington-Normal area! 

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed music therapist to join our team. Applicants must be willing to work with a variety of populations in individual and group settings and also be comfortable teaching adapted and traditional music lessons.

This opportunity is based in Bloomington, Illinois and will begin as a part-time employee position with the potential for growth. Individual and group services may be provided in the company’s home studio or off-site locations including, but not limited to, early childhood learning centers, assisted living communities and schools.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and Music Therapist Board Certification (MT-BC)
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Be proficient in guitar and voice (Bonus points for piano and ukulele)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of clinical skills with a variety of populations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of early childhood development and abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license, reliable car and car insurance
  • Knowledge and experience implementing music therapy as part of an IEP preferred
