Welcome to our “Music at Home” series! On the 15th day of each month, from now until June 2013, we will introduce you to a favorite children’s artist, compilation or album that we think would be a great addition to your family musical collection. The tunes are catchy, the rhythms snappy and the lullabies are dreamy. For access to all of the posts in this series, click here!
This CD/DVD package was and always will be a lifesaver in our home. Picture this: Your favorite chill and awesome songs by some really awesome artists transformed into a kid-friendly package. I’m a big fan of adult-friendly artists making child-friendly music, but this is different. This compilation of our favorite adult music, made for kids!
Some of the artists presented on this CD include:
In addition to a great CD of remade music, there was a DVD produced as well.
When I said this was a lifesaver, I kid you not. We had a child who wouldn’t pay attention to anything on TV, baby-friendly or not (I kind of wish that stuck around longer) and we would often travel to New York to visit family which meant 13-15 hours in a car with a child who was too young to really do too much in the car seat with her hands, but needed some distractions when she wasn’t sleeping. Enter, That Baby DVD, a blessing and perfect addition to our roadtrips. Music that Mom and Dad likes and pictures and jumping children that Farrah liked. It was a win-win. And no, I never did tire of listening to the music. It was so good!
So go get yours now! It will be a lifesaver for you and your children.
